About Maria
Mission
As a Curator, and Art Historian, I find power working in smaller galleries in order to have the opportunity to work with the artist and to hear how they view their own artworks and how they would like to see their work displayed in a gallery setting. It is interesting to see what an artist thinks about how they should see their art displayed versus how it is displayed. Working 1-on-1 with artists is an incredible opportunity that I am looking forward to.

Education
After years of studying Art History, I was given the education needed to become more knowledgeable and useful in the art world. The classes I took at California State University, Long Beach allowed me to find my passion and strive to become the best curator I can be.
